as a last resort, I wrote to support but I was already convinced that's uselessĪpparently, I needed to download the drivers for "PDP Legendary Collection: Deliverer of Truth". spent like 4h trying everything, then gave up and packed everything to get a refund I followed the steps you described, tried manual Xbox controller install, tried Win Update to sort it our for me, the Update service didn't even recognized that it needs to download new drivers for the device went to EU PDP support site, find my controller (well, it wasn't there so I choose the remaining versions Wired blue, orange etc.) download the drivers, install, no improvement I plug the device, OS recognizes a new device and rejects it I bought the controller knowing that on Win 10 and 8 the OS would install the drivers automatically and Win 7 needs the drivers from PDP support site. I had the same problem with connecting PDP to Win 7 but I solved it. I re-install my computer last month (and choosed windows 7, because I have the right to do it !).ĭon’t hesitate to propose me a real and alternative solution, if possible I remember well it was a disaster to install on windows last year (just after buying). Note: As the Controllers use the official Microsoft Xbox One controller drivers, there are no separate drivers available for download. The Controllers are compatible with Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, as long as the latest updates are installed. If the controller does not work immediately upon connecting to a PC, then you may need to update the internal Microsoft drivers on your PC by updating the Windows platform. I recently re-install my computer with windows 7. I Used it during one year, but it was really difficult to install it on windows XP when I bought it, last year. I bought a PDP wired controller last year.
